Tips to Maintain Your Commercial Refrigeration

Blog Post

Maintaining your commercial refrigeration is extremely important because as a commercial restaurant or food supplier, your product is your business. Please follow these simple rules to keep your refrigeration  in tip-top shape.

Keep Unit Clean

Keep your refrigeration unit clean inside and out. Areas include, mechanical components such as coils & drain pan, or door gaskets and seals.

Place in Correct Location

Your refrigeration unit should be placed in an area where it will not be in contact with dust, cooking byproducts, or other small debris.

Keep a Temperature Log

Keep a temperature log of your refrigeration unit. If you notice a temperature rise over time, contact Building Waters Inc. for an assessment of your equipment.

Train Your Staff

Train the staff working with your refrigeration unit to notice slight changes in the noises the unit is making, or if you notice overall temperature changes.

Maintain Surroundings

Maintain a constant and reasonable temperature for the area surrounding your unit.

If these simple solutions do not solve your problem, make sure to contact Building Waters Inc. for an assessment or service.
